Package design and label design is a critical component in getting a food product to market. Point of Purchase (POP) selling requires specific marketing insight and design skills. We helped Kissel's Spice Jam launch there incredibly delicious line of spiced jams.
As we often do we started with a blank piece of paper and and a client with a vision for a great product. We helped our client build this brand from the ground up. We started with a classic logo design. Part of the marketing strategy was to look old and established. This is a secret family recipe that has been passed down for generations. We needed a design that was professional but not too slick.
We provided: logo design, product packaging, POP displays, in store retail posters, wholesale marketing materials targeted towards food distributors and grocery store chains, a full eCommerce web site and graphic design support for social media marketing graphics.
A professional logo design is simple and clean. It should look good as a simple black and white graphic as well as in color. It should hold strong when used as a rubber stamp, or flexographic printing on a cardboard box. We designed variations of the Kissels logo that range for the 3D shiny logo on the website, to a simple black and white graphic.
